Automotive applications are among the most demanding for any material — components must perform across a wide temperature range, resist oil and fuel contamination, withstand millions of load cycles, and maintain dimensional stability throughout their service life. Cast polyurethane meets these requirements across a range of automotive applications where standard rubber compounds have insufficient durability or stiffness.

Our prototype and small-run capability serves engineers who need component validation quantities before committing to higher-volume production.

Suspension Bushes

Polyurethane suspension bushes have been the performance aftermarket's alternative to rubber OEM bushes for decades. The advantages are well established: polyurethane is stiffer than rubber, providing more precise handling response; it is more resistant to oil and fuel contamination; and it maintains its mechanical properties over a wider temperature range.

We manufacture control arm bushes, sway bar bushes, radius rod bushes, and leaf spring bushes in polyurethane formulations calibrated to the specific stiffness requirements of each application. For performance and competition vehicles, we can specify hardness grades that are stiffer than standard aftermarket polyurethane products.

Custom bush dimensions are our standard offering. If the bush you need is not available from the aftermarket, or if you need dimensions that an aftermarket supplier cannot match, we can manufacture to your specification.

Jounce Bumpers and Bump Stops

Jounce bumpers (also called bump stops) limit suspension travel and absorb the energy of full-compression events. Polyurethane jounce bumpers offer progressive spring rate characteristics — they become stiffer as compression increases — which provides a more controlled limit to suspension travel than rubber alternatives.

We manufacture jounce bumpers for 4WD, performance, and commercial vehicle applications in hardness grades matched to the vehicle weight and suspension travel requirements.

Custom Automotive Parts

Beyond suspension components, polyurethane finds application across the vehicle in sound deadening pads, engine mount isolators, gearbox mount buffers, and body panel cushions. Prototype quantities of custom automotive components are a core service — engineers designing new vehicle systems frequently need small quantities of a custom part before tooling decisions are made.
